Richard K. Relyea, M.D.
Dr. Relyea studied pre-med at the University of Virginia, medical school at the Medical College of Virginia, and an internship at Mound Park Hospital, St. Petersburg Florida. He completed his residency from 1958-1961 at the Medical College of Virginia.
Between the years of 1961-1973 Dr. Relyea practiced both solo and in partnerships in Dansville and Richmond Virginia, and Pueblo Colorado. In 1974 Dr. Relyea moved to Las Vegas and practiced solo till 1979, when he partnered up again till 1989. He has now been working with Dr. Wellish for 10 years.
When Dr. Relyea is not practicing medical ophthalmology, he is out at his 32ft pontoon houseboat reading a good book, riding his sea doo, fishing or just enjoying the peace and quiet. Dr. Relyea is married, and is the proud father of 2 children and the proud grandfather of 3 grandchildren.
