Which Premium Lens is Best For You?

How to choose the best premium lens implant for your lifestyle.

For adults that have been diagnosed with a cataract, a premium lens implant (IOL), or lifestyle lens, can allow patients to no longer need glasses or contacts to see at a variety of distances. Some lenses are better for patients that drive more at night while other lenses might be a better fit for patients who spend more time working on the computer or reading.

When you come see your Wellish Vision Institute specialist for your initial cataract exam, he or she will ask a series of lifestyle questions about your career, hobbies, daily activities, and what type of visual results you are seeking. These will help your doctor determine which premium lens implant might benefit you the best. In addition, your eye doctor will perform a series of tests to ensure you would be a good candidate for a premium lens.
