Here at Wellish Vision Institute, if you are looking for a great vision correction surgery option we have one called ICL Implantable Contact Lenses. During ICL a special contact lens is implanted by Dr. Wellish inside the eye and works with the eye’s natural lens to provide excellent quality of vision for a wide range of correction. ICLs are interchangeable, which creates a great option to address prescriptions that slightly change over time.

ICL typically tastes around the same amount of time as LASIK and you can be in and out in 30 minutes or less. Dr. Wellish then creates tiny micro incisions near the cornea to allow positioning of the lens between the iris and natural lens. Then, he will carefully implants the lens through these micro-incisions, and the implant will unfold on its own if placed correctly. Patients are given eye drops to use at home for post-operative care once surgery is complete. With ICL, patients can typically already see more clearly after 24 hours post surgery,
