Wellish Vision Institute offers its patients the privacy and comfort of our ambulatory surgery center, located in Box Canyon, Nevada.

Our Box Canyon Surgery Center features comprehensive services, including pre-surgical testing, support, and recovery rooms, multiple state-of-the-art operating rooms (ORs), and convenient parking for our patients.

Cataract Surgery: The eye surgeons at in use advanced laser technology that allows cataracts to be removed with greater precision and accuracy.

Dry Eye Surgical Treatment: Ocular surface disease, also known as dry eye, is a common condition that our team is well-equipped to diagnose, manage, and treat.

Cornea Surgery: Our highly specialized doctors perform surgery or transplants for conditions of the cornea that may affect vision, including dry eye, inflammation, Fuchs’ dystrophy, and keratoconus. Our goal is to restore vision, relieve pain, and improve the lives of our patients.

Retinal Surgery: Our team of retina surgeons uses the best imaging systems in the world to detect and diagnose diseases like macular degeneration, diabetes, macular pucker, and inflammatory conditions of the retina and choroid. We restore, improve, and preserve our patient’s vision using the latest treatments and technology.

Glaucoma Surgery in Las Vegas: Our optometrists and ophthalmologists offer treatment options for all stages of glaucoma. Our goal is to lower intraocular pressure (pressure in your eye) and prevent loss of vision.

Laser Eye Surgery: LASIK and laser eye surgery is used to correct nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia) and astigmatism. This popular alternative to glasses and contact lenses is typically performed in 30 minutes or less for both eyes.

The surgery center is Medicare-certified and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), and is conveniently located next door to our Box Canyon location. The highly trained and experienced staff is focused on your care and comfort to leave you feeling confident about your procedure. Wellish Vision Institute is proud to offer its patients access to this state-of-the-art facility, which offers a safe, convenient, and affordable alternative to having your eye surgery performed at a hospital.

Here at the surgery center, we pride ourselves in performing all procedures in a clean, and well-run facility. From the testing center to the post-op room, the surgery center ensures to make the patient’s experience as comfortable as possible.

Regarding technology, we pride ourselves in having state-of-the-art technology for procedures that we perform at our surgery center. Our eye surgeons use the Catalys Femtosecond Laser for laser-assisted cataract surgery as well as Johnson and Johnson signature Pro – PHACO. This technology sets us apart from other practices in the area and gives us the ability to perform the most precise advancements possible.
